The tensioning of your sail is crucial in order to achieve an optimal result, both in terms of aesthetics and optimal performance and resistance in terms of sun, wind, hail, and wear.

During assembly, tensioning is by far one of the most important factors, and requires the utmost care!

allows you to avoid:

  • rips due to strong wind
  • accumulated grime
  • the formation of stagnating water pockets

Our advice:

Tension your sails as much as possible!

The optimum tension can reach up to 60-70 kg on each corner.

In order to tension the sails we need professional anchors.

All Maanta anchors and poles contain the Muscle x3 tensioning system.

 The tensioning system was developed by Maanta specifically to professionally tension each shade sail.

Thanks to the mechanical advantage of the pulleys, the force exerted on the sail is tripled.

Applying a force of 20 kg to the line, the sail is tensioned with a force of 60 kg!
