The threaded rods M12x13 cm provide superior mechanical anchoring, ideal for significant static loads and for structures subject to constant pull or push forces, such as posts for garden sails. Unlike wall plugs, they allow for a more even load distribution through nuts and washers, ensuring greater strength and long-term safety.

Which building materials are Maanta threaded rods for post anchoring compatible with?

The threaded rods M12x13 cm are suitable for use on solid surfaces such as concrete, reinforced concrete and solid bricks. For hollow or brittle substrates, such as perforated bricks, it is recommended to use a mesh sleeve with injection mortar.

Is 13 cm long enough to ensure secure anchoring?

Yes, the 13 cm threaded rods have been specifically selected for Maanta posts (Alu Simple, Ulisse, EZ Mast) and provide optimal anchoring depth. This length allows proper penetration into load-bearing materials, ensuring excellent mechanical strength. For best performance, we recommend fixing with M-Plus injection mortar and leaving 2 cm of the rod exposed outside. When using a mesh sleeve, insert the threaded rod fully into the sleeve’s depth. Any excess length protruding from the surface is not an issue.

Can I use these rods with Maanta wall plates?

No, this set is specifically designed for the installation of Maanta posts (Alu Simple, Ulisse, EZ Mast and EZ Mast Inox). For Maanta wall plates, a different type of rod is required, compatible in both insertion depth and diameter. Find the right product here.

How tightly should I fasten the nut on the threaded rod?

The tightening torque depends on the type of material into which the threaded rod is inserted.
For a safe fixing, we recommend the following indicative values:

Concrete: approx. 40 Nm
Solid brick: approx. 25 Nm
Hollow brick: approx. 6 Nm

Yes, it makes drilling easier and keeps the hole clean, improving the effectiveness of the injection mortar. It’s ideal for quick and precise holes.
