Maanta technology for secure poles and tight sails

Triple the force, boost the stability

The rear stabilisation system for Maanta poles is no ordinary accessory – it's the key element that gives your installation visible strength and stability.

Thanks to the Muscle x3 system, it triples the applied force, generating a counter-force that stabilises the pole and optimises the tension of your shade sail.

With just 20 kg of manual effort, the system amplifies the force up to 60 kg applied to the pole, counteracting the tension of the sail – ideal for ensuring perfect tension, withstanding strong winds and promoting efficient rainwater runoff.

A technical feature that transforms your installation into a solid, precise and reliable structure at all times.

WHY CHOOSE THE REAR stabilisation SYSTEM?

Integrated Muscle x3 tensioning system

It triples the force applied to the corner, allowing for precise adjustment and easy re-tensioning over time in case of settling, strong winds or seasonal changes.

Flexible length

Unlike traditional steel cables that can't be adjusted, the Maanta rear bracing system easily adapts to the distance of the anchoring point.

Maximum strength and grip

Ideal for shade sails over 20 m² and installations exposed to wind and rain: it reduces pole flexing and enhances the overall performance of the system.

Easy and flexible installation

It can be installed in just a few minutes on concrete footings, perimeter walls or paved surfaces, thanks to the included accessories. No special tools or invasive work required.

Designed for Maanta poles

Designed to work perfectly with Maanta Alu Simple and Ulisse poles, it includes all the accessories needed for installation: no extra purchases, no guesswork.

Technical yet refined design

Available in two matching finishes (beige or silver), it blends visually with Maanta poles, the shade sail fabric and the surrounding architecture.

More balance, more control, longer life

Engineered to withstand wind

The stabilisation system is a key component for keeping your shade sail structure stable and secure.

It should be installed on the side opposite to the sail’s tension, in the same point where the sail is fixed to the pole, on a paved surface, a perimeter wall or a concrete footing. This way, it counteracts the force of the sail, reduces pole flexing and keeps everything stable even in wind or rain.

It’s especially useful for large sails or exposed areas, where wind and tension can strain the structure.

Over time, it helps absorb small movements or settling and keeps the tension consistent, improving the durability, performance and appearance of the sail.

FAQ

What is the rear stabilisation system for?

The rear stabilisation system is a technical accessory that stabilises the pole of shade sails by counteracting the force generated by the sail under tension. It helps reduce pole flexing and improves the overall stability of the structure, especially in windy or rainy conditions.

When is a rear stabilisation system recommended?

We recommend using the rear stabilisation system with large shade sails (over 20 m²), in windy locations or in setups where the pole is under significant stress. It’s also ideal for anyone looking for a sturdier, longer-lasting installation. You can also purchase it at a later time if needed.

Where should the rear stabilisation system be installed?

The rear stabilisation system should be fixed on the side opposite to the direction of the sail, ideally aligned with the exact point where the sail is anchored to the pole. The anchoring must be done on a solid surface such as concrete, perimeter walls or concrete footings.

Is it compatible only with Maanta poles?

Yes, the rear stabilisation system has been specifically designed to integrate perfectly with Maanta Alu Simple and Ulisse poles.

Where do I fix the rear stabilisation system?

The rear stabilisation system must be fixed to a solid and stable surface. It can be anchored to a concrete floor, a dedicated footing or a wall, always using the included threaded rod and injection mortar. It’s important that the anchoring point is aligned with the pole and positioned opposite to the direction of the sail’s tension.

Do I need to buy additional accessories for installation?

No, the kit already includes all the components needed for installation: it comes with a 6 mm rope, shackles, carabiners, threaded rod and integrated Muscle x3 system. No additional components are required, except for the injection mortar, which is not included and can be purchased separately here. You can always add the rear bracing system for poles at a later stage.

Is the Muscle x3 system hard to use?

Absolutely not. The Muscle x3 tensioning system triples the force applied to the rope, allowing for high tension with minimal effort. It’s easy to use, even if you have no technical experience.

Can the rear stabilisation system be adjusted or re-tensioned over time?

Yes. One of the key features of the Maanta rear stabilisation system is the ability to make adjustments even after installation – ideal in case of ground settling or seasonal changes affecting the structure.

Is the rear stabilisation system visible once installed?

The design is technical yet discreet. The rope is also available in two colours (beige or silver) to blend seamlessly with Maanta poles, the shade sail fabric and the surrounding environment.
