Recta Fine Line Custom light-filtering roller shade for indoor use

Recta Fine Line is a made-to-measure roller shade that screens the window while still letting you glimpse outside. The Recta fascia has a geometric profile, a clean line that matches square window frames. Its light-filtering fabric, Fine Line, with irregular horizontal stripes, makes the shade a good fit for living rooms, conservatories and rooms that look out onto greenery.

  • Light and view together: the fabric lets through 15% to 30% of visible light, and you can glimpse the outdoors through the base weave.
  • Fascia and bottom rail in the same powder-coated aluminium alloy: solid metal, in six colours.
  • Irregular horizontal stripes: where the weave tightens, the fabric turns opaque and the pattern stands out from the background. Order fabric samples.
  • Can be motorised: the motor recharges via USB-C and is controlled by remote control or voice assistant.

Product in detail

Finishes and design

Two levels of opacity in one fabric

Fine Line has an open base, so you can see outside through it. On the horizontal stripes, the weave tightens and turns opaque, so the pattern stands out from the rest of the fabric instead of blending in.

The stripes are all different: some wide, some narrow, and no two the same distance apart. It's this irregularity that makes them visible, especially when the light comes from behind.

Fine Line is the most open of the three filter fabrics: from inside you can see out, which you can't with Horizon and Earth. It works the other way too, and from outside you can make out the inside of your home.

Key features

Tens-Flow keeps the fabric taut
Structure

Durable aluminium

The bracket, bottom bar and winding shaft are aluminium, so the blind stays straight even on wide windows and runs smoothly.

Sizes

Made to measure, to the millimetre

We cut the blind to the exact size of your window. Width from 60 to 280 cm, drop from 30 to 300 cm.

Tens-Flow keeps the fabric taut
Tension

Tens-Flow keeps the fabric taut

The Tens-Flow system keeps the tension constant, so the fabric runs straight and rolls up without creasing.

Bracket

Universal installation

The same bracket clips on at the back for wall mounting or on top for ceiling mounting, and a magnetic system hides the screws and technical parts.

All day without switching on a lamp
Light

A well-lit room

Even with the blind down, light keeps coming in and the sunlight is softly diffused. The lamp stays off all day.

Optional

Quiet motor

Tubular motor with a USB-C rechargeable lithium battery. Noise level below 35 dB, three adjustable speeds. No electrical wiring to install.

Centro Stile Maanta

We make every blind ourselves: we cut the fabric to the measurements you send us, mount it on the winding shaft and fit the bottom bar, in our workshop in Italy.

The fabrics and brackets are chosen by Centro Stile Maanta, our in-house style office in Italy: the fabrics one by one, with weaves that give the room character while staying easy to match, and the brackets to suit the fabrics. Six finishes, three for warm tones and three for cool, so fabric and bracket arrive already coordinated.

WARNING – CHILD SAFETY: The chain poses a potential strangulation hazard to children. Keep the chain out of reach of children. Do not place cots, beds or furniture near the blind: children could climb up and reach the chain. Do not knot the chain. Install and use the safety devices supplied (chain tensioner and safety hooks) correctly, following the instructions. The chain tensioner must be fixed to the wall with slight tension. The chain must stay at least 1.5 m above the floor.

FAQ

FAQ

Indoor. It's designed for windows, French doors and glazed walls in homes, studies and offices.

Not very: it lets through 15% to 30% of visible light depending on the colour, and it's meant to screen the window, not darken it. For darkness, there are the Blend Blackout and Canvas Blackout fabrics; for softer, more subdued light, the other two light-filtering fabrics, Horizon and Earth.

The size of the blind and how you choose to operate it. Our design service is free and helps you decide both.

The plate. Kyma has a wave profile, Recta a geometric one. Fabrics, sizes, motor and performance are the same.

Yes, you can order samples and we'll send them to your home.

Yes: height goes up to 300 cm and width up to 280 cm, which covers most French doors.

The measuring guide covers the two typical cases, inside the recess and outside the recess, with the tolerances to follow.

A little during the day, yes in the evening. Fine Line rates 1 out of 4 for night-time privacy under the EN 14501 standard, the lowest of all our fabrics: with the lights on, people outside can make out what's happening inside. That's the trade-off for the open weave that lets you see out. If privacy matters to you, take a look at Horizon or Earth.

Fine Line: 100% polyester, 195 g/m² and 0.69 mm thick. It's the thickest of the three light-filtering fabrics.

How the light comes through. Horizon diffuses it and its surface stays closed, while Fine Line has an open-weave base you can see through. It's not about how much light: Horizon lets more through, 19% to 44% versus 15–30% for Fine Line. Under the EN 14501 standard, the difference shows in night-time privacy: 2 out of 4 for Horizon and 1 out of 4 for Fine Line.

Partly: Fine Line reflects 34% to 40% of solar energy depending on the colour. An open weave also lets more heat through, so if summer heat is your main concern, take a look at Earth, which reaches 49%, or a blackout fabric, which reaches 75%.

It's the standard that rates how a blind performs on a scale from 0 to 4. Fine Line scores 2 or 3 for daylight utilisation depending on the colour, 1 for night-time privacy and 0 for glare control: it's not the right fabric in front of a screen.

Yes, OEKO-TEX Standard 100 Class II: the class for textiles that don't come into direct contact with the skin.

It's the system that keeps the fabric under constant tension on the roller tube: the fabric runs straight, rolls up evenly and stays smooth at any height.

Powder-coated aluminium, with a 40 mm diameter roller tube.

Width from 60 to 280 cm, height from 30 to 300 cm, in rectangular or square shapes.

Six: Soft Ivory, Natural Taupe, Grey, Espresso Brown, Textured White, Shimmer Beige.

Between 30 and 60 minutes, no technician needed.

No. The kit and instructions are designed for DIY fitting.

The blind, already assembled to your measurements, the Recta plate and the complete fitting kit.

Ceiling or above the recess if you want to reduce light coming in at the sides; inside the recess if you'd rather keep the blind lined up with the window frame.

No: the fabric is cleaned in place with a damp sponge, without removing it from the roller tube.

The chain mechanism can be placed on the right or left, and you can move it at any time.

With a USB-C cable, the same type you use for your phone. The lithium battery is built in.

The remote is multi-channel and can control up to fifteen.

Yes, if you want to control the blind with Alexa or Google Home, or add it to a home routine. With just the remote, the blind still works.
