Thera Outdoor bean bag designed for year-round outdoor living

A jacquard fabric made from 100% polypropylene with a bouclé texture finish. It offers a warm, textured look combined with technical outdoor performance: water-repellent, mould-resistant, and UV-resistant. Weight: 240 g/m².

The pigment is fused into the polymer before the yarn extrusion process. The colour becomes part of the fibre itself, not a surface coating. Colour fastness grade 7–8 ISO: excellent resistance to washing, sunlight and weather.

PFAS are chemical compounds often used to make fabrics water-repellent, but they persist in the environment. Polypropylene is naturally water-repellent without PFAS: water simply beads off thanks to the fibre’s chemical structure.

Both are made from 100% polypropylene. Silkk Bouclé features a bouclé texture and comes in 5 colours. Softsilkk® is smooth and compact, available in 7 colours. Performance is comparable: the same UV resistance and the same water-repellent properties.

Yes. The fabric repels water and dries within minutes. During prolonged bad weather, it’s best to store Thera under cover or lift it off the ground to allow ventilation.

The high-density 5 mm EPS beads keep their shape for a long time. After 1–2 years of intensive use, you can add new ones through the inner bag closure.

Polypropylene is not classified as fire-retardant (melting point ~160°C). Thera is not designed for environments with fire safety requirements. Keep it away from fire pits and barbecues.

First remove dust with a soft brush. Then wash with cold water (below 30°C) and a neutral detergent diluted 1:5. Rinse and leave to air dry. Polypropylene dries quickly.

We recommend hand washing. If using a washing machine: delicate cycle, max. 30°C, no spin cycle, no bleach on Bouclé and do not tumble dry.

Open the Velcro first, then the ZIP. Remove the cover from the inner bag. The beads remain inside the inner bag with its own closure. To reassemble, follow the steps in reverse order.

Soak the affected area for 5–10 minutes in a neutral detergent diluted 1:50. Gently scrub with a soft brush, rinse and leave to air dry. Polypropylene is stain-resistant: most substances do not penetrate the fibre.

It’s best to store it dry and under cover. If you leave it outside, lift it off the ground and cover it. Make sure it is completely dry before storing it.

No. The fabric is water-repellent. If the floor collects standing water, place Thera elevated or on a draining surface.

2 years from the date of purchase, as required by European regulations. It covers manufacturing defects in materials, stitching and structural components.

Yes. Thera is available as a complete set (cover + EPS filling) or with the outer cover only, useful if you want to replace the fabric or source the beads yourself.
